Descrierea postului

You will:

- work together with a team of senior developers and architects located in Brussels, Belgium and with local developers in Timisoara, on the development of an online shared services platform in the domain of document outsourcing.
- be responsible of analysis, architectural design, improvements and the overall product quality.
- be involved in team-coordination.

Cerinte

- at least 8 years? experience working with Java
- master level in computer science or equivalent through experience
- fluent in English

Technical skills:

- solid knowledge of general and OO software development
- extensive experience with Java Enterprise Edition (J2EE)
- good understanding of enterprise and web application development
- experience with clustering approaches, application performance optimization and scalability and their implications
- knowledge of object relational mapping, threading, synchronization, memory allocation, garbage collection
- knowledge of distributed architecture, messaging (JMS), enterprise application integration (ESB) and business process management.
- thorough understanding of working with XML, UML and use cases
- good understanding of the impact of architectural choices across all layers of the application and towards future adaptability, operational aspects and costs

Technical assets / advantages:
- experience with scripting languages (javascript, php, python, ruby, perl), XSLT, RIA technologies (flex, gwt)
- experience with document processing and page description languages (PCL, AFP, PDF, PS), document archiving and electronic signatures, application security and usage billing.
- good knowledge of AGILE/SCRUM methodology/process.
