Descrierea postului

- Act as a major point of contact within the firm for the client together with the partner. This includes responding quickly to, as well as anticipating, client requests/needs, keeping clients informed of progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided and maintaining regular contact with clients;
- Plan and schedule audit programs and ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriate mix of knowledge and skills required;
- Ensure that the firm?s risk management and quality control procedures are applied to at all times;
- Perform formal risk assessment and design audit procedures;
- Produce work for your partner review clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions to issues identified;
- Be responsible for meeting deadlines and make sure that complete assignments within agreed budgets and timescales;
- Identify and understand client needs, suggest potential solutions on technical matters and communicate and agree client needs and potential solutions with your partner.
- Plan, orginise, supervise and review the work of audit team on a client?s premises and in the office;
- Ensure compliance with internal (audit methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements;
- Produce and an accurate and tidy working papers and make sure of a proper filing of audit files and documents;
- Work as part of management team with other audit managers within the business group (e.g. resource planning, merit rate meetings and efficiency gains);
- Develop and motivate junior audit staff and ensure that job appraisal documentation is completed within deadlines;


- ACCA/ACA/CA/CPA or internationally recognised equivalent;
- Bachelor degree in economy, law or social science;
- Industry knowledge and experience (financial services and mining/energy is preferred);
- Ability to prepare a full set of high quality IFRS financial statements;
- Proven audit planning skills (including risk assessment);
- Proven experience of systems/controls testing and development of audit procedures ;
- People supervision and project management experiences;
- Fluent English, both written and oral.
