Job description

* Work on Service Layer integration projects with the following responsibilities:
o Requirements specification, analysis and design;
o Solution development, implementation;
o Solution installation, configuration and integration (work with the customer on-site, or from the back-office as a member of the integration team).
* Participate in the support activities related to the solution maintenance:
o Support maintenance of the solutions;
o Handling of upgrades of Ericsson or third party products;
o Handling of error corrections;
o Follow-up Customer satisfaction.
* Interface with Ericsson’s Global Expertise centre.

Cerinte
A Suitable candidate should have the following previous EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.



A suitable candidate should possess some of the following KNOWLEDGE:

* Bachelor of Science certificate in Electronic Engineering/Telecommunications or equivalent;
* Unix/Linux experience;
* Shell scripting;
* Experience with DNS/IP router/switches/firewalls (eg: Extreme, Cisco, F5);
* Experience with some of the following: SIP, H.323, LDAP, CAI, IMAP, SMTP, SMPP;
* Good working knowledge of Oracle / MySQL / Sybase;
* Cluster and HA storage knowledge experience is a plus (EMC, SUN storage);
* Multimedia, Charging & Mediation products experience is a plus (eg.: ADC, Broadsoft, Charging System, EMM, etc );
* Knowledge of SS7 related protocols is a plus (TCAP, INAP, CAMEL, ISUP).



A Suitable candidate should posses the following COMPETENCIES:

* Team working availability;
* Advanced problem solving skills;
* Good communication skills;
* Works well under pressure;
* Fast practical learning;
* Experienced with SMS and KCS;
* Domestic and international travel required. Must be available for extended trips/visits to customer sites and irregular working hours/night shift.
